LSD SuperQ (WPC treatment) Option
Every limited-slip differential is offered in a
SuperQ variant. SuperQ units feature reduced chattering and
smoother engagement for an enhanced driving experience. With
the help of WPC metal treatment, SuperQ limited-slip
differentials also come with better heat dissipation and
longer wear life with no break-in process required. Just like
all limited-slip differentials, SuperQ units allow for locking
rate adjustments.
The difference between 1.5 way
and 2 way limited slip differentials.
Main difference is the amount of lock up and it's
aggressiveness.
Both models will perform same during acceleration but 1.5 way
provide less lock up during
deceleration or braking (about 50% aggressiveness).
So for drifting and hard core road-racing, the 2 way works
great. In tight tracks with
tight turns like autocross, the 1.5 works better because there
is less push from the back
as you go into the turns. With a 2 way, it may push the
car too much as you go into the
turn and put you into drifting mode on tight turns.
So the main difference is the amount of lock up on
deceleration or braking.
